Rv Life Isn’t For Us (Anymore)

After being in our RV for roughly one and a half years, we have decided to give up the full time RV lifestyle. It was a super easy decision for us for several reasons. First of all, a very much needed reminder, I want to say that if you think RVing sounds great and want to go for it-do it! Obviously what works for us may not work for you […]

MY TBR for 2021

I have set my TBR at 50 books for 2021. The reason for this was based on math and stats from my 2020 reading, along with what I project I will want to read in the new year, but also in trying to limit my reading. Which nearly doubled my page count from 2019. […]

Fall came and went and with it so did we! Traveling from Illinois to California this time, we didn’t rush yet we made excellent time to get here. We debated originally going to stay in Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, or Arizona again, but ultimately decided on So-Cal. We kept an eye on the Covid numbers and made sure to travel safe and smart. We made a few overnight stops along […]

Travel Part Six: We Snowbirds Go Back to Illinois for the Summer & Fall

We safely made it back to Illinois for the summer! Once we returned, we set up our spot, quarantined, and then set about visiting a very small amount of friends and family all outside and at a distance. It was really nice to be able to catch up and spend time relaxing outside around a fire. We got a lot of fishing done, although not very productive in that we […]
