July Wrap Up

So how did my reading go in July? Well, I had a LOT of life stuff that happened-both good and bad-and that super affected my reading habits. On the plus side though, I took part in the Olympic Games Readathon and that helped me read a little more than I otherwise would have. “The Secret” by: Rhonda Byrne Read this one because I had watched the movie and wanted to […]

Monsieur Dexter

Monsieur Dexter 10/13/04 – 06/26/21 Dexter was the best buddo wuddo anyone could have ever asked for. He got Jake and I through several moves, was the ring bearer in our wedding, got us through a lot of really bad health problems, he accompanied me around the house all the time and listened to audiobooks with me, and fell asleep happily when Jake would play music. We had his DNA […]

Rv Life Isn’t For Us (Anymore)

After being in our RV for roughly one and a half years, we have decided to give up the full time RV lifestyle. It was a super easy decision for us for several reasons. First of all, a very much needed reminder, I want to say that if you think RVing sounds great and want to go for it-do it! Obviously what works for us may not work for you […]

MY TBR for 2021

I have set my TBR at 50 books for 2021. The reason for this was based on math and stats from my 2020 reading, along with what I project I will want to read in the new year, but also in trying to limit my reading. Yes, you read that correctly! I am trying to cut back on time spent reading and obsessing over books so I can replace that […]

2020 Book Stats

For 2020 I set my goal originally for for 130 books. I hit that goal of 130 books and went quite beyond! 2020 book stats: 198 books read in total. Which nearly doubled my page count from 2019. […]
